In the world of Special Operations, the Loadout Room is a staging point where gear and guns are stored as War Fighters prepare for mission. And in the world of military and adventure gear, Loadoutroom.com is a gun and gear review blog written by former US SOCOM Special Operators who promise “authentic, hard-core reviews.”
The editors there recently had great things to say about Outdoor Research’s Infiltrator Jacket, a new, high-tech, tactical garment that incorporates GORE-TEX Fabric with Stretch Technology in strategic locations. This includes sections under the arms and across the back of the neck to provide full, unemcumbered range of motion and situational awareness.
Infiltrator is one of 13 pieces in Outdoor Research’s Tactical Apparel Line, which includes everything from base layers to jacket and pants. The Infiltrator Jacket is the outer shell, and it uses Gore’s innovative new stretch technology to preserve athleticism, provide freedom of movement, and allow Operators to layer up or down. It’s also windproof, waterproof and fits closer to the body than traditional shell materials, reducing bulk and weight, yet can be worn easily over body armor without restricting movement. The jacket pairs with the Infiltrator Pant.
The Infiltrator Jacket will be on display later this month in Las Vegas at the 2018 SHOT Show. You can read more about the Infiltrator Jacket below at the link for the review on Loadoutroom.com. Be sure to watch the video from Outdoor Research to learn more about the design and engineering behind a jacket ideal, according to the article, “for any soldier or outdoors man operating overseas or in extreme environments.”
And you can see the Infiltrator Jacket in person at SHOT Show 2018, Outdoor Research Booth 31000, Level 1-5.
